How We Helped Shapeshifter Sell Out All Four Shows

Our digital marketing agency loves helping artists reach their goals. Shapeshifter is one of New Zealand's top live electronic acts, who has been performing since 1999. The team had reached out as they were touring across NZ. Our team was all hands on deck and thanks to our efforts, the Auckland show sold out in just one week, and they had to add an extra show in Hamilton to meet the crazy demand!

 

Here's a look at how we made it happen:

  1. Facebook and Instagram Ads: We used Facebook's powerful targeting tools to reach Shapeshifter’s fans. Eye-catching visuals and engaging copy made sure these ads stood out, driving tons of engagement and ticket sales. By giving fans a peek behind the scenes and sharing live performance snippets, we turned views into ticket purchases.
  2. TikTok Ads: We created fun, short videos showcasing Shapeshifter’s energetic performances. These ads tapped into TikTok’s viral trends, catching the attention of a younger crowd and boosting ticket sales.
  3. Google Ads: Our Google Ads campaign focused on display ads. Ensuring our targeting was fine-tuned, we made sure people looking for live music found our ads first.
  4. Email: We also launched an email marketing campaign aimed at Shapeshifter’s fans. Personalised emails and reminders about purchasing tickets nudged fans to grab their tickets before they were gone.

 

Outside of our digital efforts, the promoters also leveraged out of home ads across billboards in relevant regions.
